『世界音楽駅伝パート２』

『世界音楽駅伝』が完成した頃、
私たちは、言葉にできない達成感を味わっていました。
世界中のあちこちから、ミュージシャンが参加してくれたのです。
参加者自身が楽しむというプロジェクトは、
私たちの想像以上のものが完成しました。
そんな思いに浸っている時、動画編集を担当したBunさんのもとに、
パート２もやってほしいという声が、集まってきていました。
動画を完成させて、すでに送ってくださってる方まで、いらっしゃいました。
すぐにでもGoしたいというBunさんの気持ちは、明らかでした。
私はHirokoさんと相談し、パート２に向けて動き出すことを決めました。
今回のパート２は、何よりも、Bunさんから広がる「輪」ということが
言えると思います。Bunさんが本気を出したパート２です。
そして相変わらず天才的な音感を持つHirokoさん。
その構成は、誰にも真似ができません。パート２は、
もちろん参加者自身が楽しむことは、参加の必須条件ですが、
Bunさんが本領発揮した世界から世界へ
エネルギーが弾けた作品とも言えます。

World Music Relay Part 2

When "World Music Relay" was completed,
we felt a sense of accomplishment beyond words.
We put out a call, and musicians around the world came
together in response!The joy that people had in taking part
was truly beyond anything we could imagine.
While still immersed in that feeling, and even before Bun had
completed the video editing,people started asking whether
we could to do a second World Music Relay.
Before we had even made a plan, some people already recorded
and sent in videos of their performances.
Bun was clear right away that he wanted to do a second installment.
I discussed it with Hiroko and we decided to go forward.
I think that Part 2 is like an expanding sound wave
emanating from Bun.Bun really put his all into Part 2.
Hiroko, as always, contributed her unmatched musical genius.
Part 2 naturally features people simply delighting
in making music. That is the mandatory condition
for participation.Bun commented that these
performances are like a burst of energy from one world to the next.
